Strategy
Ironhold Command
★★★★☆ 4.3
Ironhold Command strips strategy down to what matters: resources, positioning and one good plan. You build a fortress, defend it against waves, and expand between attacks. There's no rush timer bullying you, so you can think.
The best part is how readable the map is. You can see exactly why a defence failed and fix it next run. It scratches the same itch as classic tower defence but with more freedom in how you lay things out.
It's tough later on, and I lost a few maps before it clicked. Once it does, it's hard to put down.
What we liked
- Clean, readable strategic layouts
- No pressure timers between attacks
- Real difficulty that rewards learning
