About

Offline Arcade started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who got tired of downloading a promising game only to hit a wall that read 'connection required'. We wanted a simple list of things that just work, no matter where you are. That list grew, people started reading it, and now it's a proper site.,We only cover games we've installed and played ourselves. There's no press-release copy-paste here. If a game claims to be offline but quietly needs a login every session, we say so. If a puzzle game gets brilliant around level twenty, we tell you to be patient.,Choosing what to review is mostly about curiosity plus one hard rule: it has to run without the internet after install. We rotate between genres on purpose, because a site full of match-three clones would bore even us. RPGs, strategy, racing, adventure, the occasional cosy simulator — variety keeps things honest.,We're a small team and we like it that way. You'll usually get a reply if you write in, and we read every game suggestion even when we don't get around to it fast.
